- The hotel is using antibacterial products approved by the CDC to prevent the spread of the disease in all common, employee, and private guest areas.
- All guests and visitors will have their temperature taken by an automated sensor at the hotel entrance.
- Elevators will be limited to two people or one family at a time.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed throughout the hotel.
Public Spaces
The Georgetown Inn has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces with the focus on front desk surfaces, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, high touch areas, and public bathrooms. All guests and visitors will have their temperature taken by an automated sensor at the hotel entrance. Anyone with a fever will not be allowed to enter the building.
Employee Spaces
In the spaces where colleagues work, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas such as the locker room, restrooms, laundry facilities, and managerial offices. Employees will be asked to take staggered break times to minimize contact with each other.
