guest rooms

Guest Rooms

To prevent exposure, the Georgetown Inn is limiting cleaning services to departure rooms only, paying particular attention to high-touch services with antibacterial disinfectants. All housekeeping is provided with gloves on. All rooms will be sanitized by a special electrostatic sprayer. This will be confirmed with a sticker placed on the front door of the guest room. No staff will be allowed in the room after the sticker has been placed. Any item that is not replaced daily in the room will be removed. All glassware will be replaced with individually wrapped disposable cups.

public spaces

Public Spaces

The Georgetown Inn has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces with the focus on front desk surfaces, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, high touch areas, and public bathrooms. All guests and visitors will have their temperature taken by an automated sensor at the hotel entrance. Anyone with a fever will not be allowed to enter the building.

employee spaces

Employee Spaces

In the spaces where colleagues work, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas such as the locker room, restrooms, laundry facilities, and managerial offices. Employees will be asked to take staggered break times to minimize contact with each other.
