We are steps from Georgetown's charming shops, restaurants, and the canal and waterfront, and just minutes from iconic attractions like Union Square and the National Mall.
Q: Does the hotel offer a restaurant?
A: Yes. The Daily Grill is our intimate urban bistro, serving classic American cuisine and creative comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gather around a table in the warm ambiance, with views of the vibrant streetscape, or meet at the bar for hand-crafted cocktails, beer and wine. The Daily Grill offers event catering and in-room dining menus.
Q: What is the history of the Inn?
A: Opened in 1962 as the talk of town, The Georgetown Inn wowed travelers with innovations, such as butlers on each floor, Rolls Royce transportation, and bootery care. The Georgetown Inn became the place to be seen in Washington, DC, and hosted the fashion shows of Dorothy Stead's, who styled DC's elite. Washington's most honored residents, Hollywood stars, royalty and sports icons were guests of the Inn including, Astronaut Gordon Cooper; actors Robert Stack and George Burns; and Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Throughout the 70's and 80's, the hotel welcomed many pop culture icons and hosted a party for Playboy Magazine's "Girls of Washington" edition. In May 1992, after years of being neglect and closure, the hotel reopened retaining its historic charm. The hotel has recently undergone renovations to its rooms and meeting spaces.

A: Yes! Not only is the hotel situated right in the heart of Georgetown, we offer valet parking in our private and secure lot. Valet parking is $35 per night. Leave the car with us walk to everything Georgetown offers, or hop on the Metro right in front to get anywhere in DC.
